WokCookin Real Name: Anthony J Ramsey Jr Music Producer/Artist/Song Writer with Make Yo Ear Hot Ent. WokCookin born Anthony Ramsey Jr on September 4, 1989 in the south suburbs of Chicago. He grew up in a small town called Robbins,IL. This is where Wok came to have a love for music. His Mother raised him and older sister with little help from his father. His mom fed him all types of old school music which plays a part in his music style today. He loves old school groups such as Isley Brothers, Earth Wind and Fire, LTD, The Chi-Lites, and the list goes on. His older sister influences his love of 90s RnB. He loves groups such as Jodeci, Guy, Black Street, SWV, and more. Wokcookin found a passion in making beats after watching a close friend brother make beats. So at the age of 13 WokCookin began his journey of producing his own beats. Since then he’s worked with various of Artists. His style of production is influenced by shades of Kanye West, Lex Luger, and Pharrell from neptunes. Wokcookin is a producer of many styles of music, in which he tries to create in every genre. He never one to shy away from a challenge. Wok does not play an instrument but can create melodies by ear. Wokcookin short Term Goals are to keep creating classic music, music that can play on forever. Wokcookin long term goal would be to have influence on the next generation of producers and to take care of his family off the labor of his work.
