MakeYoEarHot Entertainment was founded in the year of 2019 by Dorell Powell & LaCarlos Revier.
The first artist signed to the label was Tanna Spazz, who released his debut single “Warning Shot” in the summer of 2020. The second artist signed was Bugs Azz Boo Man who released his debut single “This how I’m coming” in the fall of 2020. The next artist signed was Dimes who is working on music constantly, music ready to be heard. Next artist signed is OG Kama Clips… also an A&R in the company.
MakeYo Ear Hot Ent. was not the original name of the company. The original name of company was Money Hungry Entertainment. The reason to change the name of the company was due to a relative of the founders passing away. One of her favorite slogans was “I’MMA MAKE YO EAR HOT”! And the team thought it was a good name to run with.
Upon signing artists, the founders really wanted to focus on the sound quality of the studio, and next, the comfortability of the artists, so relentless upgrades were made to their studio, in just a short period of time. Artist development is also key among the company. The “Motown” blueprint plays an heavy influence, due to the fact that their brand was so successful.
The founder’s vision does not just limit themselves to just running an entertainment company. They have a vision of changing the music scene of the entire city!! Making a music Mecca here at “HOME” which is Chicago,so that artist don’t feel the need to flee the city for notariety. Also not limiting themselves to music, also starting a Non-Profit organization called The Struggling world to make a difference amongst the entire city. The sky is the limit with this company and the future is very bright under the leadership of Dorell and LaCarlos.
