Bug Azz BooMan Was born Jerome McKinney to Pamela and Kenneth McKinney on April 14,1992,on the west side of Chicago Il. He attended Henson Elementary School & Manley Career Academy High school. While growing up in the North Lawndale area (aka The Holt City). He was intrigued by local street figures and the thrill of fast money. His legal troubles started early as a juvenile, being caught with a controlled substance, at the mere age of 11. Even then, his street ambitions continued, Leaving him to drop out of high school and pursue the fast money full time.Then at the age of 17, Booman caught his first major case and has had run ins with law enforcement as recent as Oct. 2021 and is currently on parole. After the death of his best friend Johnny Taylor (Johnny boy) also and up and coming rapper, Booman thought to himself he should give rapping a shot. After writing a couple verses and sharing them with his friends. He decided to take rapping seriously.At this point with one foot in the rap game, but still needing to provide for himself and his 4 children.Booman wasn’t in the streets as much as he once was. More so I’m the studio perfecting his craft and working construction part time for a living. Not even that was enough to escape the violence of the streets of Chicago. Booman was shot 5 times on March 21,2022 at 9:00. Through the grace of God, Bug Azz Booman survived and is looking forward to his debut E.P Sometimes You Gotta Bug.
